Why students take the way of suicide after a bad result?????

Answer:
It's because their family and society have probably instilled it in their minds that you are a failure if you don't do well in exams --- therefore they think that a bad result means they have nothing else to look forward to in life (which obviously is not true) and they take the way out!
ITS THE ONLY WAY TO GET ATTENTION
they thinks that their is nothing left in their life and that they cant do anything
it should not to be done they should not leave hope and should try out their best
Because society makes them feel that their exams are far more important than they really are.

Yes it's important to get a good result for your tests, but it isn't everything if you look at the bigger picture of life. In 20 years time, or on your death bed, are you really going to care that you got 58% for your Maths exam, and not 85%? I think not!
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and people get distraught and think that their whole future is ruined. Counseling or a talk with a friend prevents this.
It's either they're so good they dont wanna live with a bad score, or they're so bad their parents can kill them if they still get low scores.
just like adults, they feel useless and thinks no one wants them and feel likes no one cares, and everybody else is wrapped up in their own problems to really realized that something is wrong with that person and they also have a very low low low self estem about theirselves, thats why they're like that including trying to get another for theirself but what they really need to do is get help for their sake before its too late.
momentary insanity due to lack of faith in the largehearted ness of people whom we love and care for
its bcos of too much pressure being put on students
not all students take this way. only who is emotionally unstable, that too for few moments, take this step. those who are emotionally strong or have a Friend or anyone stand by him and make his mind work instead of emotion avoid this step.
ALWAYS REMEMBER - During emotion DONT TAKE ACTION OR DO NOT TAKE IN ANY DECISIONS.

DURING EMOTIONS MIND DOES NOT WORK
A combination of a lot of factors can contribute to suicide after a bad exam.

1) importance of paper qualifications to rise the social ladder in some countries due to a rigid education system
2) high sometimes unreasonable expectations of parents
3) peer pressure and competition in elite schools
4) Lack of pastoral care/family support
5) Equivocating a successful life with excellent grades in school.

It took me years to realise that great results doesn't always end you up in a good job with a good salary and make you happy. Similarly, being less academically inclined doesn't mean you can't lead a successful, prominent life full of joy and content.
Maybe they feel like having wasted their lives up to now. Imagine you鈥檝e struggled through so many grades only to screw up your a-levels or whatever because your not up to your form on D-day 鈥?and that鈥檚 it. Only because of those 100 points you lack you can鈥檛 go to the university of your dreams, can鈥檛 major in the subject you wanted to; you鈥檙e a graduate but it鈥檚 worthless 鈥?and those test results are going to be tattooed on your forehead for the rest of your life.

I can understand that some students come to a point where they can鈥檛 take it anymore. I am about to graduate, and anticipating the probable result makes me doubt that I鈥檓 good enough to live the life I wanted.
Parents should be blamed for this.
its basically cuz dey fell dat dey got bad marks so dey hv no reason to live and their life is a waste but they fail to understand that dey do not only live for themselves but also for their family and friends.
they can also suicide bcuz they feel that their parents will be very harsh with them or they evn do that to escape all the problems that might be result because of getting bad marks.
it shows that such people have no strenght to face the world, they cannot understand other's emotions and take evrything in a negative manner. they don't understand that getting good marks in your exams is not all, there are many other things in life you must look forward to.
so hey why be sad when you get bad marks and suicide, find a brighter side to the situation, think about your future and face it and think of the ones who love you!!
As a student exams and pass marks are heavily focused on and at the end of the day they shape the way your whole life will turn out ie your job/promotion prospects / quality of life
i guess sometimes a bad result is all you need to tip you over the edge when your away from family and friends and have a limited social circle and feel you have no one to talk to
sometimes a bad result can seem and feel like the end of the world and also i think many people are ashamed and feel they have let their families down particularly if they are predicted a good grade and then dont get it
they concentrate too much on the term BAD.Remember BAD is a relative term. What is BAD for some one may be TOO GOOD for some one else.
Because of their attachment wid books, they are book worms.
To do well you have to put your life and soul into your studies. When you cannot do this you feel so incredibly worthless and insecure about the future that you have wasted your entire life on something that you haven't even done well in!

I am a final year student that has problems. I can also see the other students that do not suffer from depression or other mental problems and how nervous and worked up they are about exams and results. There is so much pressure from tutors, peers and relatives to do well that you feel insignificant and stupid when you don't suceed as much. I can understand why students may end up taking suicide when things go bad, it is their life down the drain.

Also I was told by the NHS crisis team (nice people that see you at home after a mental crisis) that they tend to see a lot of students at this time of the year.
Their brain growth is as such, they think that it is their end.Noithing more. They can able to think that extent only. They cannot able to go beyond that.
those students only take the way of suicide on whom the pressure by their parents and other relatives are put for good result
non confidence
Pressure of not knowing what this world is about.
