Answer:
You need to get professional help. You could be experiencing:

Depersonalization Disorder is a disorder affecting emotions and behavior. It is characterized by an change in how an affected individual perceives or experiences his or her sense of self. The usual sense of one's own reality is temporarily lost or changed. A feeling of detachment from, or being an outside observer of, one's mental processes or body occurs such as the sensation of being in a dream. This phenomena involves:

A lasting or recurring feeling of being detached from the patient's own body.

Throughout the experience, the patient knows this is not really the case. Reality experience is intact.
you may want to see a psycologist, there could really be something wrong and deffinitly sounds like a mental issue. It could also be that you dont sleep enough? stress?

i would get it checked out if i were you, it sounds like an odd way of dealing with stress. when that happens just try and relax and focus on how you feel and why. i think that might help a little.

i hope this helps, that sounds scarry. in all honesty i really dont know much about it but i have a few friends who get migranes from stress and i get the very slow feeling when im tired and stressed.
i agree with ari. see a psychologist (and it doesnt have the same neg. implications that it used to! even one visit can help a lot!). my first thought was actually some kind of weird chemical imbalance perhaps? a one time visit to a doc that checks for reflexes, etc on a day that it's not happening to you isn't gonna do squat.
hope everything goes better for ya!
When you saw your Doc did he/she run any blood tests? You should have a basic metabolic panel run to start with. Are you under alot of stress? Relaxation techniques like meditation or aroma therapy may help you. Even deep breathing exercises and mental imagery. Put yourself in your "happy place". We all have one. A place where you feel content and happy and at peace. If none of this works ask your Dr for a referral to a psychiatrist. Not a psychologist. Only a psychiatrist can prescribe medication. Good luck
Go to a therapist. You may need anxiety medication. There's nothing bad about it. If you had cancer you would see a cancer specialist, right? A therapist is just somebody who specializes in how the brain works. There is no stigma anymore about seeing one. It's Okay!
go see a doctor and get some anxiety and anti-depressent pills. It'll calm you down.

Meantime, you will need to go into a routine of sleeping early (as in be in bed by 10pm please)and eating wholesome food like oats and cereal , banana, fish and lots of wholemeal bread and milk.

Sounds to me like your body is deficient in B2 complex. So go get some B2 vitamins and start your dosage. And my friend, whats your favourite hobby? Start doing this right away as it helps you to stay focused and relaxed.

Go to the nearest beach, breathe in the air and walk barefooted on the beach...it'll help you stay grounded when you are in touch with nature..

Of course your doc says your reflecs are alright...its a mental issue, so get the anti-depressant prescription and start on them, your problem should clear within 3-6 months.if you are young, earlier..good luck my friend.:)
Some of the first answers are really good, and I would probably say the same. Something else that might help you is maybe keep a journal or some sort of notebook, and write down your feelings, espescially when this happens. Maybe there's something stressful in your life that's making this happen... I don't know... hope I helped some.
