Why is it so hard for me to show emotion!?

you can say that im kind of heartless i dont cry for easy things i hate crying i think is a waste of my time! i guess im just cold hearted!

You're not heartless! Something must had happened in your childhood that has made you disconnect, because people aren't born that way.
I would suggest this. I would go talk to a friend and just listen. Even if you don't agree or you have something to say, just nod and listen. REALLY listen to them, and see things from their shoes. This may help you.
You don't have to cry all the time in order to have have a heart. I do think you're wrong when you say that crying's a waste of time, because sciencifically it truly makes you feel better. When you cry, you let out this hormone (can't remember which one...), which makes you feel better. Plus holding stuff inside never works, and you eventually explode. (Believe me, this is true)
I would recommend if this affects relationships with other people, that you talk to a 'shrink' because they have the tools to help you reconnect. Think of this as a television. If it's not plugged into the outlet, the TV's not going to work. But if it is plugged in, it will work, with only occasional probelms.

Whether to show emotion or not, it is secondary. By your deeds, do show your kindness and helpfulness to others, and you will be loved for what you do. Emotion will come naturally later. i dont think your heart less... im the same way... for some werid reason i just sit there and i dont laugh when everyone else dose, i dont smile much, im hardly happy, and everyone thinks im angry and im really not that muchwhen people give me present i never show emotions even if i want they just dont come i dont cry a just anything but i do cry alot.. idk what to say life just hard and i dont deal with it good and i dont think you do eather i guess sorry if im not much help...

no, you're not cold hearted! it's hard to show emotions sometimes...hell, i didn't even cry once when i watched my best friend get burried at the age of 14, or when my pop-pop died...nope, i bottle it all up inside! but no, you're not cold hearted...everyone is different...
