Ignorance flourishes because most of us do not take the time to listen and learn. Most of us listen long enough to form a response, which does not allow us to address our ignorance. Changing systems takes time, the larger the system, the more time to change. The to both is not to give up. We should learn from other people and impact the people we can. All of us have perceptions that are erroneous, leading to continued ignorance. If we look first to listen and learn, that becomes the first step toward system change.
